Guardian Guide is an independently run trial service. It is not currently operated by a company. Privacy questions can be sent to guardianguideltd@gmail.com.

The guidance journey

The postcode and answers entered into the guidance journey are used to show relevant information during the visit. Guardian Guide does not create an account or store those answers in its review database.

If you add care homes, checklist answers or notes to the comparison tool, they are saved in your browser on that device. They are not available to Guardian Guide. You can remove them using the tool or by clearing this website’s stored data in your browser.

Reviews and recommendations

If you choose to submit feedback, Guardian Guide stores the review, any private recommendation, the submission date and its moderation status. We do not ask for your name, email address or the identity of the person receiving care.

An approved review may be published on the public Reviews page. Recommendations remain private and are visible only in the protected administration area. Submissions are used to operate and improve the trial and are kept only while they remain useful for those purposes.

Please do not include names, addresses, medical details or anything that could identify a person. If identifying information is submitted accidentally, we may remove or redact the submission.

Technical information

The website host and security services may process limited technical information, such as an IP address, browser information and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. Guardian Guide does not use advertising or behavioural tracking.

Your choices

You can use the guidance without submitting a review. You may ask a privacy question, report accidental identifying information or request removal of a review by emailing us. Because submissions do not include an identity or contact address, we may need the review wording and approximate submission date to locate it.

If the service later introduces accounts, payments, saved journeys or referrals, this notice and the safeguards will be updated before those features launch.
